EASYMETERING and Ericsson aim to enhance utility metering systems' efficiency, reliability, and intelligence by combining their expertise in smart metering solutions and information communications technology. With this technological ecosystem collaboration, EASYMETERING will showcase the new generation of smart meters running on Ericsson's Private LTE infrastructure.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Ericsson at the 2023 UTC Telecom & Technology Conference," said Byron Rojas, CEO at EASYMETERING. "Utilities are looking for grid modernization, and it includes the new role of smart meters in the smart grid. This collaboration signifies an exciting step forward in revolutionizing the utility industry by harnessing the power of advanced telecommunications and smart metering solutions. Together, we aim to address the evolving needs of utility companies and pave the way for a more sustainable and efficient energy future."

EASYMETERING has been leveraging Ericsson’s state-of-the-art Global Utilities Innovation Center to test the interoperability of their devices over mission-critical networks in a safe and secure environment. This environment allows for co-creation while partners replicate their end-to-end use cases such as the one EASYMETERING and Ericsson has been working on to transition legacy meters currently on proprietary wireless platforms to Private LTE.

"By combining Ericsson’s expertise with EASYMETERING's innovative smart metering solutions, we can create transformative solutions that enable utility companies to achieve their operational and sustainability goals,” said Elisiario Cunha Neto, Vice President and CTO for Customer Unit Business Development, Ericsson North America. “Together, we are poised to
drive meaningful change in the industry."

EASYMETERING and Ericsson invite attendees to visit Booth #529 at the 2023 UTC Telecom & Technology Conference to explore the latest advancements in smart metering technology.
