SK Telecom reaches 1Gbps speeds with Licensed Assisted Access
SK Telecom, one of the leading mobile operators in South Korea, has successfully tested mobile broadband with Ericsson’s Licensed Assisted Access solution. The test was carried out indoors using smartphones and data speeds of 1 Gbps were recorded, which is a major achievement with the new technology in that test environment.
Blazing 1Gbps 4G speeds in Finnish village

In collaboration with Ericsson, the Finnish operator DNA has implemented Gigabit LTE and successfully tested the high speeds in Karuby, most likely making it the fastest 4G village in the world. The new technology will help DNA secure maximum speeds for all its subscribers in Finland, and it represents an important step towards 5G.
