Ericsson selected by Etisalat to migrate its international switching network to all-IP
Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) has signed a contract with Etisalat, United Arab Emirates, to migrate its international switching layer to IP based solution. Etisalat will be eventually able to offer carrier-class IP telephony based on Ericsson's Telephony Softswitch Solution. The contract further strengthens Ericsson's position as the leading supplier of telecom-grade next generation networks enabling an efficient evolution to all-IP and empowers Etisalat to be the leading operator in technology and innovative services in the region.
Ericsson's nomination committee proposes election of three new members of the board
The nomination committee proposes Katherine Hudson, Börje Ekholm and Anders Nyrén to be elected new members of the Board, and re-election of Sir Peter L. Bonfield, Ulf J. Johansson, Sverker Martin-Löf, Nancy McKinstry, Carl-Henric Svanberg, Michael Treschow and Marcus Wallenberg. Arne Mårtensson and Eckhard Pfeiffer have declined re-election.
Transfer of Ericsson own stock in relation to the incentive programs for employees
The Board of Directors of Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) will propose at the annual general meeting of shareholders, in accordance with previous decisions, that Ericsson shall have the right to transfer its own shares on a stock exchange in order to cover certain payments that occur in relation to the Company's Global Stock Incentive Program 2001, the Stock Purchase Plan 2003, the Long Term Incentive Plan 2004 and the Long Term Incentive Plan 2005.

Ericsson selected by KPN as 3G radio network and HSDPA sole supplier
Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) and KPN have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the roll-out of a high speed mobile broadband network based on HSDPA for both KPN and Telfort in the Netherlands. Ericsson will be the sole supplier for the 3G radio access of these networks.

Ericsson and Cingular Wireless have reached an agreement that expands Ericsson's role as a major supplier and integrator in the buildout of Cingular's next-generation voice and data network. With this contract expansion, Ericsson will provide Cingular with UMTS/High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) packet core and radio network equipment.
