Ericsson today launched an expansion of its hosting offering with content packages for mobile portals within five different categories -- music, multiplayer gaming, video, multimedia subscriptions and downloads. Operators can offer consumers a series of portals pre-packaged with content from Ericsson partners including SonyBMG, Warner Music International, Bloomberg, Kamera, FashionTv, Mixipix and others.

Ericsson reveals HSDPA market introduction

At the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France, Ericsson's president and CEO Carl-Henric Svanberg today gave his views on the telecoms industry and on how Ericsson will meet new customer and consumer demands. "We are about to start a whole new stage in mobile communications - Mobile Triple Play, enabled by mobile broadband," said Carl-Henric Svanberg.
