Software Defined Infrastructure
Ericsson Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI) provides hardware management in our cloud infrastructure solutions. It manages all hardware, independent of vendor, in a common pool from a single integration point with a common set of skills, tools and procedures which creates operational efficiency.
The SDI Manager provides hardware management including discovery, configuration, life cycle management, alarm monitoring and networking configuration. It includes a control network providing out of band management of the hardware components. The pool includes system verified Ericsson and third party data network-, compute- and storage hardware components.
