Nova u-Verifier solution continuously collects and analyzes critical QoS and QoE KPIs from the network core right to the edge CPE devices. The Nova u-Verifier includes standards based and proprietary test solutions that offer the industry’s most comprehensive test suite covering layers 2 to 7.

Nova u-Verifier is a headless, integrable test agent built on a unified software platform and available in the container environment, covering traditional network infrastructure, orchestrated network slices and edge compute locations, and next-gen CPE devices. With its minimal footprint (CPU, memory, and disk space), it can be launched almost anywhere in few seconds and start performing tests with no time. All results are pushed directly to Kafka data lake for better scalability and integration with orchestrators.

QoE Tests

QoE tests are critically important within a 5G service environment, include OTT video, voice and AR/VR service performance monitoring. The Nova u-Verifier Video OTT tests generate granular details related to video/audio codecs, number of rebufferings, impact of QoS on the overall end user experience, network performance and many more KPIs. In addition, new KQIs can be customized to better understand network and end user experience. It supports start of art HLS, DASH and WebRTC protocols used by modern video services.

Nova u-Verifier Voice tests provide a unique value proposition by overlaying signaling QoS, network QoS and end user QoE experience. This allows operators to identify and fix areas which may impact overall end user voice experience due to Core, IMS and other network components. The call related KPIs allow the operator to pinpoint specific network elements which may be introducing latency, jitter and voice quality degradations to call performance.
