Service Number Application
The Ericsson Service Number Application (SNA) enables telecom service providers to support their enterprise customers with a multi-featured and flexible service number offering at an extremely short time to market. With the layered provisioning approach afforded by Ericsson SNA, service providers can limit their efforts in introducing new service numbers while their enterprise customers benefit from direct control on their own settings as well as immediate performance feedback on the service numbers they employ. Ericsson Service Number Application is based on the Ericsson Communication Solution Server (CSS).
Fulfilling enterprise communication needs
Ericsson SNA enables service providers to offer their enterprise customers to have full control and flexibility around availability preferences in the B2C domain.
Fast time to market and support for new business models
The Ericsson SNA comes with a range of tools that enable service providers to support their enterprise customers with fast introduction of new service numbers.
Enterprise self-care
Ericsson also provides a web-based tool, the SNA Manager, to configure and activate SNA-based service numbers. The SNA Manager delivers a decentralized and layered service management, allowing configuration at both service provider and enterprise level.
Ericsson Service Number Application allows service providers to efficiently serve their enterprise customers with flexible and attractive ways of communicating in the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment. With Ericsson SNA, there is virtually no limit to the service number scenarios.
Today, the most frequently used SNA-based service number variants are:
- premium-rated information services
- free phone numbers
- universal access numbers
- company-specific services (like taxi and transportation services)
- temporary or privacy numbers
- universal personal numbers
- taxis and delivery services
- national number correction and short code handling for inbound roamers
Service numbers clearly stimulate chargeable traffic in service operator networks. In mature markets, this typically accounts for between 4 and 8 percent of the total traffic in a given network, while analyst reports clearly indicate year-over-year (YOY) growth. With SNA-based offerings, service providers gain a crucial and profitable role in the value chain between companies and their customers.

State-of-the-art, commonly accepted integration points ensure easy introduction and deployment of the Ericsson Service Number Application in the service provider domain.
