VIAVI Netseed rApp
NetSeed is an O-RAN–compliant rApp that provides a unified, read-only view of live RAN topology and configuration within the EIC. It generates standardized network definitions that act as a reusable seed for analytics, optimization, simulation, and automation rApps.
Unified RAN network visibility
Provides a consolidated and standardized view of RAN topology and configuration across CU/DU nodes, cells, and transport links. By exposing live EIC-aligned network data in an intuitive GUI, NetSeed improves network understanding, reduces data inconsistency, and enables reliable downstream consumption by Viavi and third-party rApps. formula, ensuring realistic and reliable spacing calculations for planning and evaluation.
Standardized network definitions
Exports RAN topology and configuration in reusable, standardized formats such as JSON and CSV. This ensures consistent network context across analytics, optimization, validation, and automation pipelines, reducing integration effort and improving interoperability between rApps.
Foundation for network automation
Acts as a trusted seed for future automation workflows by providing validated, versioned network definitions. Upcoming phases enable configuration adaptation, impact preview, and topology editing, supporting controlled evolution of the RAN with policy and compliance alignment.
