The AIR 6492 is a single‑band TDD Massive MIMO radio designed to deliver higher output power, improved link performance, and lower energy consumption—all in a robust, passively cooled unit. Featuring 64 transmitters and 64 receivers with 256 antenna elements, it provides 480 W total output power and supports up to 200 MHz instantaneous bandwidth (IBW) and 200 MHz total carrier bandwidth (TCBW). With 16/8 downlink/uplink layers and 2×50 Gbps enhanced CPRI (eCPRI) transport, it enables high‑capacity 5G NR deployments within the Ericsson Radio System portfolio.
