MARRAKECH, Morocco – Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) announced its role as the official Digital Infrastructure Partner for GITEX Africa 2026, one of the continent's largest and most influential technology and startup event, taking place from April 7-9 in Marrakech, Morocco.

The partnership places Ericsson at the heart of Africa's digital transformation dialogue, demonstrating its commitment to building the robust, high-performance networks necessary to accelerate innovation and economic growth across the continent.

Africa is entering a new phase of digital growth, driven by a young, tech-savvy population and accelerating innovation. As governments, businesses, and consumers increasingly rely on connectivity, resilient and programmable network infrastructure is becoming essential. GITEX Africa provides a key platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to collaborate and shape this future. Ericsson’s partnership highlights the critical role of advanced mobile technology in enabling Africa’s digital-first economy.

At its booth (12D50 in Hall 12), Ericsson will bring this vision to life through a series of interactive demonstrations centered on the theme of monetizing and optimizing network performance.
