David Chou is appointed the President of Ericsson Taiwan, effective from January 1st, 2022.

David Chou is a Telecom industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. Mr. Chou has joined Ericsson Taiwan for more than ten years. Most recently David was Vice president of Ericsson Taiwan in charge of developing New Business and driving profitable growth for the company. During this tenure he introduced the 1st managed service business for Ericsson Taiwan, triggered digital transformation projects, and successfully expanded Ericsson’s market shares to new customers.

Mr. Chou is well known for his out-of-the-box thinking strategies and has been recognized twice by Ericsson’s prestigious Top Performance Award.  Prior to assuming this position, David was head of the project office in Ericsson. He supported all of Ericsson’s customers operationally in Taiwan to achieve the highest level of network performance for years.

Previous positions before Ericsson, include different roles both in Taiwan, and internationally (US, China, Japan, and Indonesia). David had involved in multiple network deployments, such as Taiwan 1st GSM network and other major networks around the world. Mr. Chou has had extensive leadership experience throughout the years and is also accredited by the Leadership Edge MBA Program and granted certification in 2002 jointly by Richard Ivey School of Business and Nortel.  

Chafic Nassif, the current President of Ericsson Taiwan, is appointed the President of Ericsson América Móvil (AMX) and LATAM North & Caribbean within Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA),
