Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison becomes Official 5G Partner at Jakarta E-Prix 2022, powered by Ericsson

Jakarta, 31 May 2022 - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) continues its commitment to support national and international events and today became the official 5G Partner for Jakarta E-Prix 2022. Together with its strategic partner, Ericsson, IOH will bring 5G services around the location of Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) to provide the best digital telecommunication experience for the racers, racing team crew, involved committees, as well as the general public. IOH and Ericsson will implement the non-standalone 5G service using the 3,5GHz spectrum hence the customers around Jakarta E-Prix area can feel the truly immersive experience of the 5G technology.

Customers who want to experience even more 5G experiences from IOH, can visit the booth located at the E-Village area on the north side of Ancol Beach City. There, customers can see various use cases using 5G technology, such as 5G cloud gaming and the Fitt 360 neckband camera experience. To experience the 5G IOH service, customers only need to use a 5G mobile phone, use a uSIM, internet package subscription, and be in the area that is covered by the 5G network.

“5G technology, which is not just a matter of speed, will provide a new experience in enjoying sports, especially car racing. This support for the government’s agenda is also in line with the IOH’s mission to provide a world-class digital telecommunications experience, connect, and empower the Indonesian people," Buldansyah concluded.
