Kyivstar GSM, Ukraine's leading mobile operator, has selected Ericsson as sole supplier of GSM/GPRS/EDGE equipment in order to expand coverage and increase network capacity throughout the territory of Ukraine.

Under the three-year contract, Kyivstar gives Ericsson exclusive status for deliveries of GSM/GPRS/EDGE equipment. The contract also includes transmission equipment as well as a services agreement.
