The service will be hosted by Ericsson under a managed services contract, allowing 3 Scandinavia to launch the new service quickly and easily in a cost effective way. A friendly user pilot is to begin immediately.
EMO offers easy-to-use access to email, contacts and calendar updates that are automatically delivered to the user via the 3G network. E-mail attachments can be downloaded, read and edited. Ericsson's hosted enterprise solution offers simplicity, openness, security and low total cost of ownership for the operator. EMO works on a wide range of terminals and installation and maintenance are designed to be as simple as possible.
