Ericsson Canada ranked first in its industry by Forbes in Canada’s Best Employers 2024
- Ericsson Canada recognized among Canada’s best employers for the ninth consecutive year by Forbes
- Award is based on a range of criteria including gender pay equity, opportunities for promotions, and how supervisors manage direct reports
Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) Canada has been named by Forbes as one of Canada’s top employers of 2024. The company ranked in first place in the Semiconductors, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technology Hardware & Equipment industry on the prestigious annual list of Canada’s Best Employers 2024, out of 300 large-scale organizations. This marks the ninth consecutive year Ericsson Canada has been named among Canada’s top employers by Forbes, showcasing its continued dedication to its staff and their future success.

Forbes and market research company Statista analyzed findings from a survey of more than 40,000 employees of Canadian companies and institutions that employ 500 people or more to compile the list. Respondents were asked to rate their employer on criteria such as opportunities for promotions, gender pay equality, and how supervisors managed direct reports. Respondents were also asked if they would recommend their employer to others and were allowed to rate other employers in their respective industries.
Ericsson Canada has over 3,100 employees in state-of-the-art 5G R&D centres and offices in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Ericsson is amongst the top 13 R&D spenders in Canada and have invested $7.2B over the years in R&D in Canada.
