Ericsson and Telstra partner to enable enterprises with an on-premise 5G industrial wireless platform
Telstra and Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) have partnered to enable Australian enterprises with an industrial grade on-premise 5G wireless platform that will help businesses to drive innovation and productivity.
This 5G industrial wireless platform will enable Telstra to provide enterprises with a powerful, easy to use wireless solution for 4G and 5G, which can be deployed on-site to drive automation and digital transformation of their production and operational environments. Telstra enterprise customers can leverage their own or Telstra spectrum for the deployments in their operational environments.
This unique solution will provide enterprises with the most secure, scalable and resilient wireless connectively available, providing straight-forward capacity expansion for the enterprises as their business grows. This will enable businesses to confidently transform their operations, powering Industry 4.0 transformation across multiple industries including advanced manufacturing, transport and logistics, ports, mining, energy, agriculture, and oil and gas.
