The MY5G Ericsson Malaysia Pioneers Program is the first customized learning course on 5G and advanced digital technologies, designed by Ericsson and Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB). This program gives the learners a good introduction to the world of artificial intelligence, IoT, virtual and augmented reality, and even more technologies coming in the future. The program is curated to enable learners of all backgrounds to utilize the knowledge in their fields of interest.

The MY5G Ericsson Malaysia Pioneers Program is designed to bridge the growing gap between the demand and availability of digital skills in the Malaysian job market. This is the first customized learning course on 5G and related digital technologies, designed by Ericsson and Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB).
It is important for the students of Malaysia to get a good introduction to the world of artificial intelligence, Internet of things, virtual and augmented reality, and even more technologies coming in the future. This will help them in build their careers and launch businesses and also create a positive change in the world with the help of technology.
The program is curated in a way where learners of all backgrounds can utilize the knowledge in their own fields of interest.
Participants can earn a digital badge after successfully completing all 3 course modules.
Results
"The MY5G Programme offered at APU in collaboration with Digital Nasional Berhad, Ericsson and Ministry of Higher Education has allowed for our students to understand in depth the 5G design requirements towards the benefits of its applications across various industries. The number of students who have been certified from inception and the forecasted new students to undertake the programme will align towards APU’s upgrade to 5G as part of the university's broader initiative to improve wireless connectivity and increase internet access for the community on campus. The platform and content furnished by DNB and Ericsson are attractive in that they showcase trendy learning practices for APU students on 5G technology."
