      Giga initiative

A flagship example is Ericsson’s partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) through the Giga initiative. As the first private-sector partner supporting Giga at scale, Ericsson contributes mapping expertise, infrastructure modelling, and technical capability to accelerate school connectivity worldwide.

Ericsson also collaborates with initiatives such as the UNESCO Digital Transformation Collaborative, supporting governments in advancing systemic digital education reform.
