Ericsson has been listed number two on Turkey’s Best Workplaces 2014 list by the Great Place to Work® Institute, world’s largest and most respected study of workplace excellence. Based largely on employee surveys, the ranking reflects how employees feel about working at Ericsson. The workplace award also takes into consideration an extensive culture audit – providing evaluators with insight into a company’s value system, programs and practices in the areas of hiring, communication, employee development and company celebrations.

The award comes as no surprise to Ericsson Turkey Country Manager Ziya Erdem, who explains, "Ericsson stands out among others with our flexible working environment and employees who take pride in their work. I would like to thank our employees for their amazing support and dedication to Ericsson – they are the real reason for this recognition. Together, we’ll strive to make Ericsson an even greater place to work."

The list was announced in front of an audience of more than 300 businesspeople at the Great Place to Work Awards Ceremony in Istanbul. The annual list ranks the top 10, small-sized (500- employees companies) and top 5 large-sized (500+ employees companies) in Turkey that "use smart people management strategies to develop successful organizations with highly productive and satisfied workforces."

Ericsson Turkey is part of Region Middle East and Africa, where making Ericsson a Great Place to Work is a focus area under the regional strategic program Build A Winning Culture. The award is a reflection of focus, teamwork and collaboration at Ericsson and reinforces Ericsson’s drive to continue building a great company.
