Rima Qureshi, Chief Strategy Officer at Ericsson discusses the new edition of the Mobility Report.
Qureshi discusses how in Q1 2014, around 65% of all mobile phones sold were smartphones. She expects that by 2016 that there will be more smartphones used worldwide, than basic phones, with the majority of the growth coming from Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa due to smartphones being available for less than $100.
Qureshi also discusses how subscriptions for mobile broadband connectivity continue to grow.
