Humanitarian workers are involved in a long, hard job in South Sudan. Ericsson Response is working to support them, providing connectivity and communications.

Ericsson Response is a global initiative that works in partnership with UN agencies to put, communications expertise, equipment and resources at their disposal in times of need. The program is today staffed with over 100 employee volunteers. The aim is to assist humanitarian relief organizations with communications technology and competence to contribute to a better and faster response to human suffering when disaster strikes.

Ericsson Response volunteers are now collaborating with the World Food Programme in war-torn South Sudan, where WIDER networks and volunteers’ core technical competence are helping long-term humanitarian efforts.
