For the second consecutive year Ericsson Portugal has been named winner in the "Best Companies to Work for 2015" survey conducted by Accenture and Exame magazine.

The "Best Companies to Work for" study distinguishes the top 100 companies in Portugal with highest employee engagement, based on employees’ questionnaires and an in depth analysis of the Human Capital management practices.

With an engagement level of 87,16%, the three greatest satisfaction factors highlighted by Ericsson employees are strongly related to our company’s solid culture: respect among colleagues, commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility, and knowing and living up to the core values.

Fernanda Tomás, Ericsson Portugal Country Manager and Vice President, Head of Human Resources, Region Mediterranean, said: "I am truly proud of this recognition of our company and, for a second time around, in the country where I started my career at Ericsson. I believe that inspirational leadership and continuous feedback are drivers of high performance and employee engagement. Nurturing good relationships is especially important, as we continue to evolve the way we work, finding new ways to be productive in an increasingly collaborative work environment."

Pedro Queirós, President & Head of Sales Ericsson Portugal, says: "Achieving success in a competitive market such as ICT, requires a team of highly talented and committed employees ready to outperform. This award sustains a strong employer branding, which ultimately gives us a competitive edge."

Rute Diniz, Ericsson Portugal Human Resources Manager, comments: "The diversity of Ericsson’s employees is one of our major strengths. Increasing gender diversity is a critical area of focus for Ericsson, as men have traditionally been in majority in engineering and technology fields. A goal was set that, by 2020, one third of our global workforce should be women. In Portugal we are contributing to this ambition by implementing supportive measures to conciliate maternity with professional life, as well as maintaining high focus and excellence on the best human capital management practices."

Ensuring that employees are valued and can reach their full potential leads to superior business results, enabling us to keep pushing forward with solutions and services that create positive change in society and in people’s lives.
