When cars get connected new dimensions open up. Buckle up for a wild ride into a sci-fi world that comes to life. The vehicle that changed the world is about to face a revolution of its own.

Jeremy Green, Principal Analyst at Machina Research, talks about how a fragmented ecosystem can transform into a common platform that supports all the connectivity services required to enable the connected car.

"We clearly see that cars in the near future will integrate on the same level of digital services that consumers today are used to having in their homes or at work," he says.

"I am really interested in the fact that Ericsson has a direct relationship with the automotive suppliers because I think there is a role for a trusted third party who understands connectivity, but is not themselves a connectivity provider."
