Ericsson joins the Global Network Initiative as an observer
In conjunction with the annual Human Rights Day, Ericsson is announcing that in 2018 it will participate as an observer in GNI, the leading freedom of expression and privacy forum related to the ICT sector.
Restated segment financials published and impairment testing begins
- Restated financials for new segments for 2015 – 2017 is now published as reporting structure is changed as of Q4 2017
- Following the restated financials, goodwill re-allocation and impairment testing will now begin and be completed in the Q4 closing. The outcome will be communicated before the Q4 report.

Ericsson named best cloud provider
Ericsson Middle East and Africa was recognized as the Best Cloud Provider during the prestigious Telecom Review Excellence Awards. The award was received by Ericsson during the awards ceremony, which was held on December 6th in Dubai.
T-Mobile, Ericsson exceed 1 Gbps with LAA demo
