Ericsson supplies full commercial EDGE system to Batelco
Ericsson has been chosen as the supplier of a full commercial EDGE system for Bahrain operator Batelco. The upgrade of Batelco's existing GPRS network will enable the launch of new consumer services and offer high-speed data access to the entire subscriber base. The agreement also includes network expansion.

Ericsson awarded GSM expansion agreement with VimpelCom
VimpelCom has selected Ericsson to supply infrastructure equipment and telecom services for its GSM expansion. According to the agreement, Ericsson will deliver infrastructure equipment, valued at more than USD 210 million, by the end of 2004.
Ericsson awarded EDGE contract with Ålands Mobiltelefon
Ålands Mobiltelefon AB has selected Ericsson as the sole supplier for the EDGE upgrade of its GSM/GPRS network. This upgrade to EDGE will enable Ålands Mobiltelefon to start introducing 3G services to its customers, including high-speed mobile data services.
Ericsson signs breakthrough GPRS/MMS contract with MobiCom in Mongolia
Ericsson will supply GPRS and MMS systems to the leading mobile operator in Mongolia, MobiCom. Ericsson's telecom services, including network deployment, systems integration, network support and training programs, are a significant part of the deal.
