5G Ride: paving the way to better public transport
Four years ago, representatives from the telecoms industry, academia and the public sector teamed up to test a 5G-connected autonomous vehicle for public transport. The project has since expanded with new partners and technical solutions that make autonomous vehicles better in terms of safety and security, while efficiently integrated in the transport system.
