Ericsson selected by Vodafone Group as a supplier of IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERICY) has been selected by Vodafone Group as a preferred supplier of its IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). Implementation of IMS will enable Vodafone to pilot a range of next generation communication services, with the first market implementation planned for Vodafone KK (Japan).

GrameenPhone awards GSM expansion contract to Ericsson

GrameenPhone Ltd., the largest telecommunications service provider in Bangladesh, has awarded a contract to Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERICY) to expand its GSM/EDGE network and prepare the core network for all IP. The USD 150 million contract is to be implemented over a period of two years, during which Ericsson will remain the sole supplier to the GrameenPhone network.

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERICY) has been selected by Austrian operator ONE to host and manage the entire "Ladezone" entertainment portal. As part of the deal Ericsson, will supply www.ladezone.at with its white label personalized music service, its entertainment download service and its ringback tone service. This is the first contract awarded to Ericsson that comprises all three of the services.
