Ericsson announce approval of Microelectronics transaction
Following the press release dated June 12, 2002 announcing the purchase by Infineon Technologies AG of Ericsson's Microelectronics division, Ericsson is pleased to announce that the transaction has now been approved by all responsible anti-trust authorities. Closing is expected to occur before the end of September 2002.

Ericsson responds to BB+ rating by Standard & Poor's
Standard & Poor's today announced that it has downgraded the long-term credit rating of Ericsson from BBB- to BB+, maintaining their CreditWatch status pending completion of the rights offering. Ericsson's ratings from Standard & Poor's and Moody's Investor Services are now aligned. The downgrade has no effect on Ericsson's rights offering.
Ericsson kommenterar Standard & Poor's nya kreditvärdering
Kreditinstitutet Standard & Poor's har idag nedgraderat den långsiktiga kreditvärderingen av Ericsson från BBB- till BB+, samtidigt som de behåller sin kreditbevakning tills nyemissionen är avslutad. Standard & Poor's kreditvärdering är nu i linje med den värdering som görs av Moody's Investor Services. Nedgraderingen har ingen effekt på Ericssons nyemission.
Ericsson files amendment to F-3 Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission
In connection with the proposed rights offering, Ericsson has filed an amendment to the Registration Statement on Form F-3 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Ericsson responds to Ba1 rating by Moody's
Moody’s Investor Services today announced that it has downgraded the long-term credit rating of Ericsson from Baa3 to Ba1 and continues to review its rating for possible further downgrade pending completion of the rights offering. The action does not affect the underwriting of the rights offering.
