With over 60 percent of US mobile traffic running on Ericsson equipment, Ericsson equipment is an essential part of the US telecom network. At the Ericsson USA 5G smart factory in Lewisville, Texas, we manufacture the equipment that powers 5G networks across the U.S. In March 2025 we celebrated five years of manufacturing 5G. Our production runs 24x7 on multiple lines, providing great jobs in Texas.

The Ericsson factory proves that high tech manufacturing can thrive in the US. The advanced circuit boards we manufacture have over 18,000 components, placed on some of the longest Surface Mount Technology lines in the country. And with our 5G private network we are a showcase for how 5G can impact productivity and quality in manufacturing.
