C Band spectrum enables 5G to have better coverage and better performance

Video

Ericsson has taken a leap forward in building high-capacity, low-latency 5G networks by demonstrating a live C Band network in the United States (US) with 16-layer downlink Multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technologies, delivering enhanced spectral efficiency, at its North American headquarters in Plano, Texas.

More recently, a new demonstration of Ericsson’s C Band product portfolio showed superior performance by setting the record for peak data rate on a single user device at C Band frequency, exceeding 1.5 Gbps. Learn more here.
