Our focus
Risk-based approach
Ericsson adopts an inclusive and risk-based approach to prevent incidents. High risk activities undergo strict checks, including site surveys, risk assessments, pre-work and during-work inspections.
Safety basics are captured in eight mandatory Lifesaving Rules for everyone when working for Ericsson.
Learning and development
To support Target Zero, Ericsson offers training programs that enhance employees’ ability to apply health, safety, and well-being protocols. These programs emphasize self-protection, awareness of others, and early risk identification and mitigation, helping prevent adverse outcomes and fostering a culture of care, responsibility, and proactive safety in real-world situations.
Incident Management
Ericsson urges employees and suppliers to report health and safety incidents to the Global Incident Reporting Tool.
Timely reporting helps identify root causes and analyze trends, enabling proactive measures to prevent future occurrences. All incidents must be reported promptly and addressed swiftly.
Supplier Management
Target Zero is a collective commitment between Ericsson and our suppliers.
Ericsson mandates all suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Occupational Health and Safety Requirements. These requirements should be integrated into their daily operations to achieve Target Zero and prioritize overall well-being.
