Ericsson Care is our holistic approach to embedding health, safety and well-being in all business decisions and  making it a way of life to enable the achievement of Target Zero.

Health, Safety and Well-being Policy

The Health, Safety and Well-being Policy sets out Ericsson's aims and states Ericsson's commitments with regard to health, safety and well-being. It also outlines the approaches adopted by Ericsson to achieve the aims.

Health, Safety and Well-being Management System

Ericsson manages health, safety, and well-being risks and opportunities with a comprehensive framework aligned with ISO 45001 and aspiring towards ISO 45003. Our Health, Safety, and Well-being Management System is integrated into the Ericsson Group Management System (EGMS) and certified to ISO 45001.

Risk-based approach

Ericsson adopts an inclusive and risk-based approach to prevent incidents. High risk activities undergo strict checks, including site surveys, risk assessments, pre-work and during-work inspections.

Safety basics are captured in eight mandatory Lifesaving Rules for everyone when working for Ericsson.

Learning and development

To support Target Zero, Ericsson offers training programs that enhance employees’ ability to apply health, safety, and well-being protocols. These programs emphasize self-protection, awareness of others, and early risk identification and mitigation, helping prevent adverse outcomes and fostering a culture of care, responsibility, and proactive safety in real-world situations.

Incident Management

Ericsson urges employees and suppliers to report health and safety incidents to the Global Incident Reporting Tool.

Timely reporting helps identify root causes and analyze trends, enabling proactive measures to prevent future occurrences. All incidents must be reported promptly and addressed swiftly.

Supplier Management

Target Zero is a collective commitment between Ericsson and our suppliers.

Ericsson mandates all suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Occupational Health and Safety Requirements. These requirements should be integrated into their daily operations to achieve Target Zero and prioritize overall well-being.
