What do you do here at Ericsson?
I am working at Edge System Software team under Cloud Research department. My main responsibilities are investigating interactions between cloud and mobile network.
Tell us about your typical day?
As an engineer, I always try to keep myself updated about the latest technological advancements. Therefore, every day I read various web sites and blog posts primarily related with software engineering. Before Ericsson, I never worked in the telecommunication domain. Therefore, I can say that every day I am learning many things that are completely new to me.
Have you been given any career advice you feel will be useful in your future career?
During the orientation day for summer interns, one of the speakers highlighted the importance of communication in work life, and I also believe that it’s a very important ability anybody should have to advance in their careers.
Have you learned something you didn’t know about Ericsson?
Before I started working at Ericsson, I only had little knowledge about the history of Ericsson, and how it’s evolved with time. But right now, I can say that I have much more knowledge about it.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Challenges. For me, one of the most satisfying things in life is seeing the result of your hard work after dealing with a challenging problem.
