5G connects London and Berlin in music and song

At the award ceremony of the 5G World event in London this week, Ericsson won in the category “Best Plan for Integrating LTE Advanced Pro and 5G.” The successful application involved Ericsson’s approach to work closely together with operators to make sure that 4G investments are 5G-proof. Industry leaders complete vital step towards a holistic 5G vision

Today, the 3GPP TSG RAN Plenary Meeting in La Jolla, California approved the completion of the standalone (SA) Release 15 5G specifications. After the release of the 5G New Radio (NR) specifications for non-standalone (NSA) operation in Dec. 2017, this is another milestone in the standardization of 5G.
