Ericsson selected by Bellwave for second generation 3G platform

Ericsson and Bellwave have signed a license agreement for U250, which is the latest state-of-the art WCDMA/GPRS platform from Ericsson Mobile Platforms. With the agreement, Bellwave and Ericsson extend their cooperation of combining Ericsson's industry leading WCDMA/GPRS platform technology and Bellwave's innovative and feature rich products.

Ericsson and 3 Scandinavia demonstrates 1.5 Mbps enhanced uplink in live WCDMA system

Ericsson and 3 Scandinavia have performed successful demonstrations of enhanced uplink, also known as HSUPA, being standardized in 3GPP release 6. This is the first time that enhanced uplink, implemented in a live WCDMA system based on commercial products, is being demonstrated over the air. The demonstration is a further proof of Ericsson's leadership in mobile broadband and WCDMA.

Ericsson och SEB säkrar Akropols ligaspel

Ericsson och SEB går in som sponsorer för basketklubben Akropol från Rinkeby i Stockholm. Därmed kan laget, som senast gick till semifinal i årets SM-slutspel, nu ge klartecken till Basketligan (herrar) om fortsatt spel även säsongen 2005-2006. Ericsson satsar som huvudsponsor 1 miljon kronor medan SEB går in med 500 000 kronor om året under tre år.
