sunrise, a leading Swiss provider of mobile, fixed net and Internet services, has selected Ericsson's mobile music service M-USE. The M-USE service, which Ericsson has developed in cooperation with Sony Music, is being integrated into sunrise live, the Swiss operator's mobile portal.

Ericsson selected by Sharp as supplier for 3G mobile platforms

Sharp has selected Ericsson Mobile Platforms to supply 3G mobile platforms. The license agreement between Ericsson and Sharp covers Sharp's first WCDMA and Triband-GSM compatible handset with a mega pixel camera for the Japanese market. The device is based on Ericsson Mobile Platform's UMTS product (U100), which is a complete platform for dual mode GSM/GPRS and WCDMA terminals with very low power consumption and small size.

Ericsson and TeliaSonera are employing Ericsson's standards based SIM card log on solution for WLAN in international roaming trials between TeliaSonera GSM/WLAN networks in Finland and Sweden. These are the first such trials to be conducted according to the guidelines of the GSM Association.

The Work Group presents a proposal to reduce the differences in voting rights in Ericsson to 1:10

The proposal of the Work Group states that the differences in voting rights are reduced to 1:10. The A-shareholders will be entitled, for each A-share, to convert one B-share to one A-share. Conversion rights may be sold for SEK 1.10 each. The proposal is subject to inter alia approval on general meeting in Ericsson as well as in Industrivärden and Investor.
