Ericsson to deliver Network Optimization service with Cognitive Software in XL Axiata
- Ericsson to deliver Network Optimization Service to XL Axiata using AI-powered Cognitive Software solution to improve customer experience
- Deployment will allow proactive network audit and monitoring of Ericsson Radio Network, advising and highlighting the capacity and performance issues – to enable a great end-user experience for XL Axiata’s subscribers.
- The service will cover 2G, 3G, 4G and VoLTE network including transport quality assessment and recommendation in JABODETABEK and Central Java area
Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and XL Axiata have announced a partnership on a Network Optimization Service across the highest populated regions of Indonesia, Greater Jakarta (JABODETABEK) and central Java. The Service will comprise of Ericsson expertise using the AI-powered Ericsson Cognitive Software.
Ericsson Cognitive Software is an AI-powered multi-vendor and multi-technology big data platform with superior scalability and performance. This platform is used to improve network experience with the subsequent OPEX rationalization, increase customer loyalty and improved EBITDA. It is organized in different modules that work seamlessly together, across the network lifecycle of planning, design, tuning and optimization.

Together, these capabilities secure proactive capacity expansions and superior network quality, as the foundation for an excellent experience delivered to XL Axiata’s subscribers.
