Ericsson Taiwan is Recognized as “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2021”

Ericsson Taiwan has been recognized as the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2021” by Asia’s authoritative human resources publication, HR Asia. In the face of the challenges presented by the pandemic, Ericsson Taiwan continues to play a leading role in the tech industry and aims to adapt to the new normal for the global community and workforce. During the pandemic, Ericsson Taiwan has been taking great care of its employees, promoted workplace diversity and inclusion, and taken a human-centered approach to its HR management strategy, earning wide recognition from its employees and the public. According to HR Asia’s survey, Ericsson Taiwan achieved higher scores in organizational values, ethics, and work culture from employees’ ranking, compared to the industry average.
Ericsson Taiwan is a leader not only in technological innovation but also in taking measures to create a more flexible, efficient, and inclusive work environment. While managing the challenges brought by the pandemic, Ericsson remains fully committed to ensuring the mental health and wellbeing of its employees. Ericsson’s work-from-home plan was launched in March 2020, with currently an average of 20% of Ericsson Taiwan employees working from the office on a daily basis.
Ericsson Taiwan is also planning a 50%-50% hybrid work model that combines in-office and remote work in the coming months. Ericsson Taiwan provides work-from-home software and equipment, such as mobile handsets and headsets to support remote working and has collaborated with IKEA to supply ergonomic office furniture to improve the home office experience. In addition, Ericsson is dedicated to building team collaboration as well as supporting mental health and personal growth in several ways, including online events and some mindfulness apps.
Ericsson Taiwan is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment that allows people of different backgrounds to unleash their potential. This year, in celebration of Girls in ICT Day, female professionals from various tech companies and top university were invited to discuss about career development for women in the ICT industry and called for increased awareness of diversity and inclusion. The ALTitude program is also part of Ericsson’s efforts to accelerate learning and development for female employees and a new generation of women leaders.
