Gartner, one of the leading research and advisory companies, has recognized Ericsson as a Leader, placing the company in the Leaders quadrant of the 2018 Magic Quadrant for Small Cells Equipment.
In its 2018 small cell report, Gartner’s explains that “mobile network operators are meeting subscribers’ increased demands through the deployment of small cells. Interest is growing in private enterprise small cell solutions, and 5G is on the horizon.”
The report provides a global snapshot of the market and vendors offering small cell equipment and evaluates them based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. Ericsson believes these results confirm the company’s clear, differentiated, and industry-leading small cell vision, which is backed by our customers such as Verizon, China Mobile, China Unicom, and Swisscom as they drive their network transformations and boost overall end-user experience.
