Carl-Henric Svanberg new CEO and President of Ericsson effective April 8, 2003
Ericsson's Board of Directors has today appointed Carl-Henric Svanberg new CEO and President of Ericsson. He will take office at Ericsson's Annual General Meeting on April 8, 2003. Carl-Henric Svanberg is presently CEO for the international lock group Assa Abloy. Ericsson's CEO and President Kurt Hellström will stay with the company until year-end in order to secure a successful hand over.

Tokyo and Stockholm, January 29 -- Sony and Ericsson today announced that the two companies have decided to make an additional capital injection to their 50:50 jointly owned Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, AB ("SEMC").
Ericsson awarded MMS contract by Estonian EMT
Ericsson has been selected by Estonian operator EMT to supply its MMS Solution. The solution includes MMS Center, mobile data gateways, and a range of support services. The contract also contains integration of key elements into the existing mobile network, supplied by Ericsson. EMT will launch its MMS services in summer 2003.
