Ericsson has signed a frame agreement with the Polish operator Polkomtel to supply GSM, EDGE and WCDMA network equipment to complement the existing Plus GSM network.

Ericsson strengthens its managed services position in Spain

Ericsson has signed a managed services contract with Spanish fixed line operator Auna. Ericsson also announces the strategic acquisition of Enditel, a Spanish telecom services provider and a supplier to Auna and other customers. The five-year managed services contract includes day-to-day management of field operations for Aunas' network.

Ericsson to build China Telecom's next-generation IP backbone network

Ericsson has been awarded a contract by China Telecom Corporation Limited (China Telecom) for building its next-generation IP backbone network, known as ChinaNet Next Carrying Network (CN2). According to the contract, Ericsson will provide total solutions for China Telecom's entire national core network of CN2 and the major part of its backbone network in the southern and western parts of China.
