Ericsson’s USA 5G factory: staffed by professionals – trained by VR
Ericsson's USA 5G Smart Factory in Texas is one of the most advanced manufacturing complexes in the world. When it launched earlier this year its engineering professionals were trained with almost no face-to-face interaction. By utilizing the power of virtual reality (VR) in the months prior to opening, new Ericsson employees were able to learn directly from peers in the company’s Tallinn smart factory, 8,000 km away.
China Telecom and China Unicom select Ericsson 5G
China Telecom and China Unicom have selected Ericsson as a 5G radio access network (RAN) vendor as part of the communication service providers’ (CSPs) joint nationwide 5G network. China Telecom has also selected Ericsson as a 5G Core vendor.

Ericsson Educate: digital learning program for students launched
In response to how the global COVID-19 Pandemic has disrupted education and learning around the world, Ericsson has joined the UNESCO-led Global Education Coalition and launched Ericsson Educate, a digital program delivering online learning content focused on improving digital skills for students in secondary schools and universities.
