Ericsson, China Mobile and OPPO complete 5G SA network slicing-based differentiated connectivity field verification for consumers
Ericsson, together with China Mobile and OPPO, have successfully completed China Mobile’s first consumer-oriented User Equipment (UE)-level slicing and application-level slicing test on the live 5G Standalone (SA) commercial network in Dezhou city, Shandong province. The test effectively validated the usage of network slicing technology, combined with AI-powered service recognition at the UE level, to deliver differentiated service experiences. This is a breakthrough achievement in 5G experience assurance.

Ericsson to utilize mandate to transfer shares
In conjunction with the delivery of vested shares under the long-term variable compensation program I and II 2023 (“LTV I and II 2023”), Ericsson’s (NASDAQ:ERIC) annual general meeting on March 31, 2026 authorized the company to retain and sell no more than 70% of LTV I and II 2023 shares of series B in the company. Ericsson has decided to utilize the authorization to transfer shares to cover costs for withholding and paying tax and social security liabilities on behalf of the participants in relation to the performance share awards.
