Ericsson selected by Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) to supply IMS based combinational services

Ericsson has been selected as supplier of its IP Multimedia System (IMS) including combinational services to TIM Italy. The implementation of the IMS based services will enable TIM's mobile users to share videos, images, and collaborate on whiteboards while having an ongoing phone conversation. The new services will be available on a number of different terminals from a variety of suppliers.

Ericsson demonstrates 9 Mbps with WCDMA, HSDPA phase 2

Ericsson continues to break the ground for WCDMA, HSDPA. At the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, Ericsson is demonstrating 9 Mbps high-speed data downloads, and streaming applications over the air. This is the first time that HSDPA phase 2, implemented in a live WCDMA system, based on commercial products, is being demonstrated. The Ericsson Board of directors has decided to present a Long Term Incentive Plan 2005 ("LTI 2005") at its annual general meeting of shareholders. The LTI 2005 is based upon the same principles as the Stock Purchase Plan 2003, which covered all employees and was supplemented by the Long Term Incentive Plan 2004 for key contributors and senior management.
