Ericsson Mexico has a team of more than 3400 colleagues, one factory and is home to the operations headquarters for the north of Latin America. For 120 years, Ericsson has been present in Mexico, developing the infrastructure and offering telecommunications services.

We’re introducing the first commercial 5G network in Mexico—the largest in Latin America so far—reaching 15 cities in the country with more than 1,500 radio base stations. Ericsson are bringing people closer through 5G in LATAM.

Claudia, Solution Architect

Almost a decade ago, I embarked on a new professional journey as a Solution Architect at Ericsson. With a background in Cybernetics and Computer Systems Engineering, I transitioned from roles as a technical lead and support escalation engineer in IT companies. 

At Ericsson, I find immense fulfillment in several aspects: 

  • Being part of a company committed to turning the impossible into reality is a privilege. From Pakistan to Colombia, I've contributed to implementing BSS solutions, advancing global communication, and fostering trust. 
  • Working alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds enriches my experience. Understanding various cultures and perspectives enhances our ability to provide valuable solutions to customers, reflecting Ericsson's commitment to equality. 
  • Ericsson prioritizes both technical and soft skill development. Through comprehensive training programs and certifications like SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager and SAFe Scrum Master, I've evolved from a Solution Architect to an E2E Architect, continually enhancing project delivery and quality.

Jaia, Early Career Integration Engineer

At Ericsson, my journey began with the Early Careers Pilot Program in September 2023, where I joined as an Integration Engineer after studying Telematics Engineering at UPIITA University. Starting in Customer Support for CSS products in Mexico and the Caribbean, I quickly found myself deeply involved in impactful projects such as Data Matching. 

Transitioning to the Government Colombia team has been seamless, thanks to the warm welcome and support from my new colleagues and managers. Currently, I'm gearing up for a thrilling challenge in 5G Packet Core technology, reflecting Ericsson's commitment to innovation and cutting-edge solutions. 

Ericsson's emphasis on continuous learning is evident through various training opportunities. Alongside my role transitions, I've engaged in On-the-Job Training (OJT) for a client project in Colombia, gaining insights into Pre-sales and preparing for the Delivery process as we embark on implementing Telecall's first 5G infrastructure. 

Through these experiences, Ericsson has not only empowered me to contribute meaningfully to transformative projects but also reaffirmed its dedication to employee growth, well-being, and innovation.

I joined Ericsson as part of the Next Gen Account Manager program. I studied Mechatronics Engineering so I´m enthusiastic about working at a tech company that is shaping the future. At Ericsson, I’ve had the chance to grow through diverse experiences, international networking and travels. Working here means tackling new challenges every day that push me to grow and become the best version of myself.
