Ericsson selects Lewisville, Texas for company’s first 5G smart factory in the United States

- Texas-based facility will be a fully automated and connected smart factory when it opens in early 2020, producing Advanced Antenna System radios to enable rapid 5G deployments

- Factory is another significant step in Ericsson’s commitment to accelerating 5G deployments in North America by making investments in the U.S. and Canada  

- Sustainability is integrated into the innovative design of the factory, which aims to be up to 28 percent more energy efficient than comparable buildings
