Ericsson, Far EasTone, and OPPO demonstrate AI-driven 5G Standalone ecosystem for differentiated connectivity

  • Validated on Far EasTone’s live 5G Standalone network, the joint collaboration integrates programmable networks, application-level slicing via URSP and on-device AI to enable performance-based differentiated connectivity, and will be demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2026.
  • Proven in a large-scale real-world environment, the validation was demonstrated at a 40,000-person concert at Taipei Dome, enabling on-demand, in-app connectivity upgrades with guaranteed performance under extreme traffic conditions.
  • The collaboration establishes a scalable ecosystem model that unlocks new B2B2C opportunities, allowing communication service providers (CSPs) to monetize performance, developers to offer premium experiences, and users to benefit from consistently enhanced connectivity.
