Gender equality

Over the past few years, Ericsson has made steady progress in increasing the number of women at senior-level positions. The number of women across our executive population is 30% at end of 2018.

The Company strives to be a gender intelligent organization that recognizes and values the differences that everyone brings to the workplace. In 2013 Ericsson set a global long-term ambition to increase the number of women in its organization to 30% across all levels, including Executives and leaders. Since then, we have worked with annual gender-diversity.

In 2018 women account for 23% of the Company's total workforce, with a sustained increase at the Executive level accounting for 30% already.
