In 2016, Ericsson continued to build upon the Supplier Diversity program collaborating with Ericsson Global Diversity & Inclusion expanding the program with a global reach. For the first time, the program won Women's Business Enterprise National Council Top Corporation Award. In addition, Ericsson was a sponsor of the Student Entrepreneurial Pitch Competition and student Emily Bocchino taking 3rd place for her company Campus Thrift. Ericsson offered a matchmaker event, mentorship program, sponsorships, two-tier diversity reporting portal and growth opportunities for diverse suppliers. Ericsson is committed to the utilization of Minority, Women and Disabled Veteran Businesses to maintain a "Best in Class" diversity program.

The Ericsson supplier diversity program continued to excel during 2016 receiving the following accolades:

For 2017, our focus will continue to strengthen our program, sustaining our current offerings to achieve Ericsson's vision of the Networked Society where every person and every industry is empowered to reach their full potential. We will offer a matchmaker event, mentorship program, workshops and seminars, two-tier diversity reporting portal and growth opportunities for diverse suppliers.
