On-Demand is a public cloud integrated telecom SaaS solution comprised of three key components:
- Service interaction layer
- Tenant management layer
- Core On-Demand instances
On-Demand – High-level architecture
- Service interaction layer: Customers interact with Core On-Demand instances through the service portal or a comprehensive suite of APIs, which are all part of the service interaction layer within the On-Demand ecosystem.
- Tenant management layer: The tenant management layer safeguards network integrity by implementing robust security measures that facilitates secure API connectivity, secure access management, and enables tenant and instance isolation. This multi-instance aware layer also enables the lifecycle management of Core On-Demand instances.
- Core On-Demand instances: The Core On-Demand instances are the dedicated operational environments that host essential core network functions.
Simplified ordering and billing through Google Cloud Marketplace
To simplify the buying and billing process, On-Demand integrates with Google Cloud marketplace. This integration lets customers use their Google Cloud account to order On-Demand and view detailed billing information directly in the Google Cloud console.
