What is a core network?
The core network is the heart of telecommunications, responsible for routing voice, data, and video traffic across vast networks and towards smartphones and other devices via the radio network. The core network domain handles a range of essential functions in the mobile network, such as connectivity and mobility management, authentication, authorization, subscriber data management, policy management and exposure of network and service APIs.
